The B&B Antica Biblioteca
In the eastern part of Fermo, just below the Piazza del Popolo, along via Goffredo Mameli, you can see Palazzo Evangelista, in the large square that has the same name. Built in the 1700s, and completed in the 1800s, it stands on five floors, two of which are partially underground. Made of brick, embellished with gutters and cornices, it has a very valuable Istrian stone entrance portal on the Evangelista square. Inhabited since the beginning of the 19th century by the family of counts Bernetti Evangelista, it was brought as a dowry by the countess Chiara Evangelista in her marriage with the Count Luigi Bernetti.
The frescoed ceilings, the walls covered with ancient wallpaper, the furniture and the vintage objects, the family library, the chapel and the ancient kitchen, allow guests to travel back in time immersed in an elegant but familiar, atmosphere!
